Today I have again made a card using ‘Flutterby Butterflies’ paper pad from Creative Crafting World.

This paper pad is from The Paper Boutique range.

You will need:

Flutterby Butterflies Paper Pad
8″ by 8″ Cream Card
Paper Boutique Sentiments Collection 2 ‘Happy Birthday’
A4 Cream Card
A4 Kraft Card
Pearl Beads
Foam Pads
Wet Glue

Instructions:

To make this card you will need the spotty paper and the large flower design paper from the paper pad.

Using kraft card cut a square measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms and another piece measuring 19.5 cms by 11 cms.

Cut a square measuring 19 cms by 19 cms out of the spotty paper.
Matt and layer this onto the 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms kraft card and then attach this layer to the cream card base.

Next cut the cream card measuring 19.5 cms by 10.5 cms. Matt and layer this onto the kraft card measuring 19.5 cms by 11 cms.
Then cut a piece from the large flower design paper measuring 19.5 cms by 10 cms and layer this also.

Using foam pads attach this to the card base leaving a small border on one side and a larger border on the other. Please see picture for reference.
The larger border is where the sentiment will go.

Next fussy cut the flowers and insects from the leftover piece of the flower paper and attach these to same place on the flower paper. This gives the card dimension.

Using the Happy Birthday die cut the matt layer in kraft card and the words in cream card. Add this to the card.

To finish off add pearl beads to the centre of the flowers.
