Woodlands Birds – Kestrel

0 2 Comments

This card has been made using the ‘Sketch Book Collection – Chapter IV – Woodland Birds from Creative Crafting World.

This cd-rom is full of wonderful drawing by Pollyanna Pickering.

The image and papers that I chose for this design are from the Kestrel collection.

You will need:

Sketch Book Collection – Chapter IV – Woodland Birds Cd-Rom
7” by 10”  White Card
A4 Black card
1 Large Circle Die
1 Medium Circle Die
1 small Circle Die
Bow Die
Gold Gem
Wet glue
Foam pads

Instructions:

Print off the Kestrel image and 2 papers from the cd- rom, one plain and one patterned.

Using black card cut a piece measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.

Then using the plain paper cut a piece measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.

Matt and layer these two together and attach to the white card base.

Next cut another piece of black card measuring 16.5 cms by 10.5 cms.

Then cut the patterned paper to measuring 16.5 cms by 10 cms.

Matt and layer these together and attach to your card, leaving a large border at the top and a smaller border at the bottom. Please see picture for reference.

Out of black card cut out a large circle and then three small circles.

Out of white card cut a medium circle.

Matt and layer the large circle and the medium circle using foam pads and finish off with the circle topper.

Using small circle toppers matt and layer these on to the three small black circles again using foam pads.

Attach all the circle matt and layers to the card base. Please see picture for reference.

To finish off this design I cut out a bow in the plain paper and added a gold gem to the centre.
