Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at Last Minute Manda Challenge Blog.

This challenge blog is a colouring challenge with an Anything Goes theme.

For my card I have used one of their digital images from A Deer Christmas collection.
Isn’t stead of using the image for Christmas card I have made it into a birthday card.

You Will Need:
DL White Card Base
Last Minute Manda Digital Stamp – A Deer Christmas
Promarker Pens
Patterned Papers
White Card
Black Card
Funky Fossil – Retro Rocks Stamps
Black Ink Pad
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print and Prepare the Digital Image:
Print one of the A Deer Christmas digital images onto white card.
Select two patterned papers for layering.

Create Layer One (Background Layer):
Cut black card to 20.5 cm x 9.5 cm.
Cut the first patterned paper to 20 cm x 9 cm.
Layer the patterned paper onto the black card and adhere it to the front of the card base.

Create Layer Two (Accent Layer):
Cut black card to 13 cm x 7 cm.
Cut the second patterned paper to 12.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
Matt and layer the patterned paper onto the black card.
Use foam pads to attach this layered piece to the card base.

Colour the Digital Image:
I used Promarker Pens to colour the A Deer Christmas digital image.
Here are the colours I used:

Deer: Burnt orange, chestnut, burnt sienna, praline, tan, misty rose, antique white, cool grey 5, black, pale cream, grey green, pastel blue, rose pink, baby pink.
Present: Azure, sky blue, cyan, sunflower, yellow, buttercup.

Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card design.

Create Layer Four:
Choose a sentiment stamp and stamp it onto white card using a black ink pad.
Then cut a black card mat slightly larger than the sentiment.
Layer the sentiment onto the black mat and attach it to the card base.

Final Touches:
To finish, add an insert to the inside of the card base for a personal message.
