Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at Last Minute Manda Challenge Blog.

This challenge blog is for colouring challenges with an Anything Goes theme.

For my card I have used one of their digital images from A Deer Christmas collection.

You Will Need:

Instructions:

Print and Prepare the Digital Image:
Print one of the A Deer Christmas digital images onto white card.
Print three patterned papers, and enlarge the envelope paper to 160% before printing from the Snowy Day Friends collection.

Create Layer One:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cm x 16 cm.
Cut a piece from the first patterned paper measuring 14.5 cm x 14.5 cm.
Matt and layer these pieces together and attach to the front of the card base.

Create Layer Two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 16.5 cm x 8.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 16.5 cm x 8 cm.
Matt and layer the patterned paper onto the black card.
Attach the layered piece to the left side of the card base.

Create Layer Three:
Using the 15.2 cm x 10.5 cm die, cut a die-cut from black card.
Using the 13.7 cm x 9.5 cm die, cut a die-cut from the third patterned paper.
Matt and layer the patterned paper die-cut onto the black card die-cut.
Attach the layered piece to the card base using foam pads for added dimension.

Colour the Digital Image:
I used Touch Migo Twin Alcohol Marker Pens to colour the A Deer Christmas digital image.
Here are the colours I used:

Deer : Caramel, sandstone, chestnut, raw sienna, saddle brown, burnt sienna, praline, cool grey 5, black, blush, soft peach, dusky rose, soft green, leaf green.
Santa Boot : red, ruby, burgundy, pastel blue, grey green, lemon, sunflower, cool grey 5, black.

Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card design.

Create Layer Four:
Use a sentiment die to cut the matt layer from black card.
Cut the sentiment words from white card.
Attach the sentiment words onto the matt layer to create a layered effect.
Place the layered sentiment onto layer three of the card design.
Cut out three large envelopes from the printed paper.
Attach the envelopes to the card design for added detail.

Final Touches:
To finish, add an insert to the inside of the card base for a personal message.
