Today’s handmade Christmas card has been created using the new paper and die collection called A Sprinkle Of Winter from Creative Crafting World.

This collection is first showing on Create and Craft on Monday the 17th of June.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
The Paper Boutique A Sprinkle Of Winter – Embellishment Pad
The Paper Boutique A Sprinkle Of Winter – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique A Sprinkle Of Winter – Season’s Greetings Doily Die Collection 
The Paper Boutique A Sprinkle Of Winter – Winter Wildlife Embellishments Die Collection 
White Card
Chocolate Card
Yellow Card
Red Card
Black Card
Silver Gems
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Use the brown card and choose one other from the coloured card collection.

Cut a piece out of brown card measuring 20 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer together.

Next using the doily die set, cut the doily die out in the second coloured card.
Then using the centre square die, cut a square out in white card.
Matt and layer together using foam pads.
Attach at an angle to the first matt and layer and cut off any extra that hangs over the edge.
Attach all to the card base on the left using foam pads.

Cut a piece out of brown card measuring 20 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Then cut out the longest topper from the embellishment pad.
Matt and layer this using foam pads.
Attach to the card base on the right.

Using the robin die, cut the matt layer and robin die out in brown card.
Cut a small piece of black card and attach to the underneath of the robin die cut’s eye.
Cut a small piece of yellow card and attach to the underneath of the robin die cut’s beak.
Matt and layer together using foam pads.
Next cut the robin die out of chocolate card and save the feather pieces that fall out.
Paper piece the feather pieces to the main robin die cut.
Then cut off the stick parts and paper piece these on to the main robin die cut.
Next cut the robin out of red card and save the robins breast that falls out.
Paper piece this to the main robin die cut.
Attach the finished robin to the left matt and layer on the card base.

Using the sentiment cut the matt layer out of the brown coloured card.
Cut the sentiment out of white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the bottom of the card base using foam pads.

To finish make a couple of layered snowflakes up using the embellishments form the doily die set.
Attach to the left matt and layer on the card base adding silver gems to the centre.
