A Winters Tale

0 11 Comments

Todays card has been made using Pollyanna Pickering’s A Winter’s Tale dvd rom.

Materials used:

A5 white card
A Winter’s Tale dvd rom
Black card
Silver ribbon
Leaf die
Foam tape
Glue
Double sided tape

Instructions:

Choose an image from the dvd rom (the image that has been used was a complete set that included an image, paper and border) and one plain paper.

Cut out all the elements on the image page.

Next, score the front of the card at 10.5cms and fold over, this will form a z fold card.

Cut a piece of black card approx 10cms by 14.5cms and the paper from the image set measuring approx 9.5cms by 14cms.
Matt and layer these together.

Using double sided tape on the ribbon, attach this to the front of the matt and layer you have just made. Add the border on top of the ribbon, please see picture for ref.
Glue this to the front fold.

Cut a piece of black card approx 20.5cms by 14.5cms and the plain paper approx 20cms by 14cms.
Matt and layer these together and glue them on to the inside of the card.

For the topper, cut a piece of black card 10cms by 10cms. Using foam tape attach the base topper paper to the black card and then attach the picture topper to this again with foam tape.
This gives your card dimension.

Put two strips of foam tape on to the back of the topper and then place this part way on the front fold, please see picture for ref

To finish your card cut three leaf die cuts out of the paper that you used for the inside of the card and five leaf die cuts out of the paper you used for the front fold.
These have been placed on the front and inside of the card, please see picture for ref.

Add a sentiment to your card and you have finished.
