Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #282.

The theme for this challenge is Thinking of You/Get Well/Sympathy Sentiments.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.

I have used one of their digital images called Anime Alice.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card
Stampers Delight Digi Image Anime Alice
Promarker Pens
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Powder Blue Paper Pad
Black Card
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose two backing papers from the paper pad.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 4.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 4 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Anime Alice. I used promarker pens.

Hair: Cocoa, raw sienna, tan
Skin: Dusky pink, blush, almond
Clothes: Cool grey 4, 3, 1, aegean, duck egg, cool aqua, sunflower, buttercup

Cut the digital image to measure 14 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
To finish I made my sentiment using word adding black matt layers.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
