Today’s easel card has been made using ‘Art Deco Decadence’ cd-rom by Debbi Moore Designs.

I love all the images on this cd-rom, I would have loved to wear these elegant clothes.

You will need:

Art Deco Decadence Cd-Rom
8″ by 8″ Scallop Card
A4 Gold Mirri Card
Pearl Beads
Fluff Feathers
Foam Pads
Double Sided Tape

Instructions:

Choose a paper and design from the cd-rom. You will need to print off two sheets of the paper that you have chosen.

Score the front of the 8″ by 8″ at 4″ and fold inwards. This will make an easel shape card.

Cut out all the matts and layers first :

Gold mirri card :
1 x 19 cms by 19 cms
1 x 19 cms by 9 cms
1 x 11 cms by 5 cms

Paper:
1 x 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms
1 x 18.5 cms by 8.5 cms
1 x 10.5 cms by 4.5 cms

White card:
1 x 10 cms by 4 cms

Matt and layer these pieces together.
The gold mirri card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms is the matt layer for the paper piece measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
The gold mirri card measuring 19 cms by 9 cms is the matt layer for the paper piece measuring 18.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
The gold mirri card measuring 111 cms by 5 cms is the matt layer for the paper piece measuring 10.5 cms by 4.5 cms and then add the white card piece on top of this layer.

Using double sided tape attach these layers to the white card base.
The smaller matt and layer is placed on the base of the card to act as a stopper for the front fold.

Decoupage the image (if needed) and using foam pad attach this to the front fold along with a sentient.

I have then added pearl beads to add a little bit of sparkle to this design.
