Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #572.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Springtime.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Avery On A Bench.

You Will Need:
7″ x 7″ White Card Base
White Card
The Paper Nest Dolls – Avery On A Bench
Promarker Pens
Creative Crafting World – Beverley Eden Summer Gnomes Paper Collection
Gems
Ribbon
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print and Prepare the Digital Image and Papers:
Print the Avery On A Bench digital image onto white card.
Choose two patterned papers, one solid paper and one sentiment sheet from Summer Gnomes collection.

Create Layer One:
Cut a square from the solid paper measuring 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cm x 16 cm.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 15.5 cm x 15.5 cm.
Matt and layer these pieces together and attach to the front of the card base.

Create Layer Two:
Cut a square from the solid paper measuring 14 cm x 14 cm.
Cut a square from white card measuring 13.5 cm x 13.5 cm.
Cut a square from the second patterned paper measuring 13 cm x 13 cm.
Matt and layer these pieces together.
Wrap a strip of ribbon around the edge and attach to the card base.
Adding a bow.

Colour the Digital Image:
Use Promarker pens to colour the Avery On A Bench digital image.
Here are the colours I used:

Hair / Skin: Sunkissed pink, coral, tan, pastel pink, soft peach, carmine.
Clothes : Baby pink, cocktail pink, antique pink, mustard, buttercup, canary.
Teddy / Flower : Burgundy, firebrick, rose pink, dusky rose, cardinal red, red, cool grey 3, 4, honeycomb, holly.
Bench : Raw sienna, burnt orange, burnt umber.

Cut the coloured image to measure 12 cm x 10.5 cm.
Cut a piece of solid paper measuring 12.5 cm x 11 cm.
Matt and layer these piece together and attach to the card base.

Create Layer Four:
Choose a sentiment from the Summer Gnomes collection.
Cut a solid paper matt layer for the sentiment.
Matt and layer and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Final Touches:
To finish, add an insert to the inside of the card base for a personal message.
