Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #518

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Autumn – Golds & Browns.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Bartholomew.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ x 8″ White Card Base
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Bartholomew
Promarkers

White Card
Brown Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Bartholomew on to white card.
Choose three inserts ( two being the same ), three coloured cards, one plain topper and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the first coloured card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first insert measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using the second insert, fussy cut out some of the image.
Then using foam pads attach to the top of the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Bartholomew using promarkers.

Cat: Chestnut, terracotta, coral, ice grey 1, 3, 4, shale, dusky rose, baby pink.
Bandanna: Orange, mango, pumpkin.
Glasses: Warm grey 1, 2, 4, slate, cool grey 3, black.
Hat: Amber, mustard, sunflower, orange, pumpkin, olive green, pear green, marsh green.
Collar: Amber, sunflower, raw sienna, burnt umber.

Cut around the digital image, leaving a small white border.
Using the topper cut the leaf image out and attach this around Bartholomew.
Then attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a piece from the second coloured card measuring 4 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the sentiment and attach to the card base.

Layer five:
Using the small feathers from the Angels Are Near doily die collection, cut six out in the second and third coloured card.
Attach to the card base, coming from underneath Bartholomew.

Layer six:
Using the cogs from the You Make My World Turn doily die collection, cut a few out from the second coloured card and brown card.
Attach to the card base.

Layer seven:
To finish, add an insert to the inside of the card base.
