Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #429 that starts today.

I have used a digital image from Dr. Digi’s House Of Stamps called Bat Outta Hell.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Birthday.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Promarkers
Dr. Digi’s House Of Stamps Digital Image Called Bat Outta Hell
The Big One Backgrounds Cd-Rom
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancies – Sentiment Volume XX Die Collection
Brown Card
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose two papers from the cd-rom ( I used an orange flame and a speed sign paper).
Print the digital image onto white card.

Layer one:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 19.5 cm by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 13.5 cm by 13.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 13 cms by 13 cms.
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 12.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut each in half. corner to corner.
Matt and layer one of each together and attach to the card base on the top right corner.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image, I used promarkers.

Karaoke machine / Speakers: Chestnut, spice, raw sienna, cool grey 1,2,4,5
Projector screen / Mic: Cool grey 5, cloud blue, pebble blue, cobalt blue, ice grey 1
Lady Skin / Mouth / Hair: Dusky pink, putty, blush, pale pink, warm grey 3
Hat / Dress / Slippers: Dusky rose, cocktail rose, pale pink, antique pink, carmine, pink carnation

Cut a piece of brown card measuring 12 cms by 14 cms.
Cut the digital image to measure 11.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from brown card.
Cut the sentiment die from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the corner of the digital image, using foam pads.
