Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #560.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option Tropical Vibes.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Beach Kiosk.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 10″ White Card Base
Polkadoodles Digital Image – Beach Kiosk
Promarker Pens
The Crafty Witches Digital Download Collection Sail The Seas
White Card
Black Card
The Paper Boutique Beyond Alphabet Collection
Butterfly Punch
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Beach Kiosk on to white card.
Choose two patterned papers and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black measuring 17 cms by 24.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 16.5 cms by 24 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 17 cms by 6 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 17 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer it together and attach to the card base on the right, using foam pads.

Layer three:
Using black card, cut a matt layer for the sentiment.
Matt and layer with the sentiment and attach to layer two.

Layer four:
Colour in the Beach Kiosk digital image, I used promarker pens.

Kiosk: Saddle brown, cocoa, burnt sienna, cardinal red, firebrick. burgundy, cool grey 5, black.
Umbrella: Sky blue, aegean, true blue, saddle brown, burnt sienna.
Sun Glasses: Black, cool grey 1, 2, 5, marine, mulberry, plum.
Flip Flops: saffron, tan, salmon pink, purple, orange.
Candy Floss: Cerise, magenta, tea green.
Surf Board: Cobalt, sky blue, cyan, aegean, azure, true blue, white gel pen.
Hot Dogs: Terracotta, raw sienna, burnt umber, sunflower.
Crabs / Tray: Putty, oatmeal, honeycomb, henna, tulip yellow, sunflower.
Shells: / Starfish: tulip yellow, sunflower, apricot, amber, mango, pumpkin,
Cameras: Black, cool grey 2, 4, 5, azure.
Bucket / Spade: Pear green, olive green, raw sienna, lipstick red, poppy
Beach Balls / Boat: Khaki, marsh green, marsh green, carmine, magenta, caramel, shale, duck egg, arctic blue.
Sand / Sky: Blush, praline, tea green, grey green.

Cut a piece of black card measuring 16 cms by 15 cms.
Cut the image to measure 15.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer five:
Cut out the letters from black card and attach to the image.
Then using the butterfly die, cut out two butterflies and attach to the image.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
