Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #582.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Masculine.

You must use alcohol markers on your work to join in the fun, any brand is excepted.

For my card I have used one of their digital images from a set called Biffo.

Materials You Will Need:
7″ x 7″ white card base
White card
Black card
Patterned paper
Birthday present-themed paper
Promarker pens
Dr Digi’s House of Stamps image – Biffo
Microsoft Word (or similar) – to create your sentiment
Glue or double-sided tape
Foam pads

Instructions:

Print and Prepare the Image
Print the Biffo digital image from Dr Digi’s House of Stamps onto white card, ready for colouring.

Create Layer One
Cut black card to 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm
Cut white card to 16 cm x 16 cm
Cut patterned paper to 15.5 cm x 15.5 cm
Layer all three pieces together and adhere to the front of your card base.

Create Layer Two
Cut black card to 15.5 cm x 9 cm
Cut birthday present paper to 15 cm x 8.5 cm
Layer the two pieces (matt and layer), then attach to the left side of the card front using foam pads for added dimension.

Colour the Digital Stamp
Colour Biffo using your Promarker pens. Below are the shades I used:

Clothes : Storm cloud, midnight blue, cornflower, pale blossom, almond, sky blue, cyan, ice grey 4, 2, olive green, pear green, orange, mandarin, warm grey.
Hair : Orange, mandarin, pumpkin.
Face /Skin : Pastel blue, poppy, cardinal red, satin, champagne, oatmeal
Balloons : Hot pink, ruby, tulip yellow, mustard, sunflower.

Once coloured, carefully cut around the image, leaving a small white border for a clean finish. Then, attach Biffo to your card using foam pads to make him stand out.

Create Layer Four
Use Microsoft Word (or your preferred text editor) to create a sentiment for your card.
Mount the sentiment on black card to create a border, then attach it to your card base.

Final Touches:
Finish by adding an insert inside the card base so you can write a personal message.
