Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #421 that starts today.

I have used a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps called Birthday Critters Sign

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Birthday.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A5 White Card
Promarkers
Bugaboo Stamps Digi Image Birthday Critters Sign
The Paper Boutique Perfect partners – Dusky Pink Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Perfect partners – Aqua And White Paper Pad
Cut & Make Mini Candle Die Collection
Black Card
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image and cut to measure 8 cms by 19 cms.
Then choose one patterned paper and one plain paper from each paper pad.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 20.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first patterned paper measuring 14 cms by 20 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from black card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a square from the second patterned paper measuring 8.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Cut each in half from corner to corner and matt and layer together.
Attach one half to the top right corner and one to the bottom left corner of the card base, using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in Birthday Critters Sign using promarkers.

Letters: French navy, true blue, azure.
Animals: Mango, cool grey 4, cool grey 5, spice, raw sienna, praline, sandstone, pastel pink, dusky rose, cocktail pink, pastel pink, cool grey 3.
Party Hats: Aubergine, purple.
Balloons: Cornflower blue, blue pearl, tulip yellow, sunflower, fuchsia pink, rose pink.
Presents: Maroon, mulberry, carmine, cerise, cardinal red, hot pink.
Ice-cream: Burnt umber, chestnut, cyan, duck egg, maroon, mulberry.

Cut a piece from black card measuring 8.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together with the digi image.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using the candle dies, cut two of each from the plain papers.
Attach to the card base, coming out from the other layers.
