Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #275.

The theme for this challenge is For The Girls + A Sentiment.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.

I have used one of their digital images called Bows and Bonnets.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Hetty Clare Digital Image Bows And Bonnets
Chameleon Pens
The Paper Boutique Sweet Tweets – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Sweet Tweets – Embellishment Pad
The Paper Boutique Sweet Tweets – Coloured Card Collection
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digital image, choose two of the same insert, one coloured card and two sentiments.

Layer one:
Cut a square from coloured card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Cut a square from one of the inserts measuring 18 cms by 18 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Colour in the digital image, I used chameleon pens.
Hair: BR5
Dress / Hat: PK3, VO2, PK5, BR1
Tights: PK4, PK3
Shoes: BR1, BR5, BK4
Grass: YG3
Flower / Flower pot: PR4, GR4, NU4

Cut a piece from coloured card measuring 11.5 cms by 7 cms.
Cut the image to measure 11 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Using the second insert, cut out the flower images.
Attach to the corner of the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut two piece of coloured card measuring 3.5 cms by 7 cms.
Matt and layer with the two sentiment and attach both the the card base.

Layer five:
To finish cut out a couple more smaller flowers.
Attach one to the digital image and one to the top sentiment, using foam pads.
