Today’s handmade card has been created using the new dvd-rom from Creative Crafting World called British Wildlife Volume III.

With art work by Pollyanna Pickering.

I have used the frog collection for these cards.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
British Wildlife Volume III Dvd-Rom
White Card
Flower Dies
Leaf Die
Corner Punch
Pearl
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

From the dvd-rom go to page one and print off image sheet four.
Cut out one of the toppers from the image sheet.
Then from two of the other toppers on the sheet cut out two frogs.

From the dvd-rom go to page four and print off papers two and ten.

From the dvd-rom go to page six and print off sentiment sheet two.
Cut out a sentiment.

Cut a piece from paper ten measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.

Using a corner punch round off each of the corners.
Attach to the card base.

Cut a piece of white card measuring 19.5 cms by 8 cms.
Cut a piece from paper two measuring 19 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Using foam pads attach to the card base leaving a small border at the top and a larger border at the bottom.

Cut a matt layer out of white card for the topper measuring 10.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together using foam pads and attach to the card base over lapping the last layer.

Using white card cut out a matt layer just slightly larger than the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base at the side of the topper.

Attach the two frogs using foam pads to the bottom of the card base. Please see picture for reference.

Using the flower die cut out one in white card and one out in one of the papers.
Cut a couple of leaf die cuts out in one of the papers.
Matt and layer together and attach to the corner of the topper.
Add a pearl bead the the centre of the flower.

To finish the card go to inserts on the front of the dvd-rom and print an 8″ by 8″ insert and attach to the inside of the card base.
Remember with these inserts you can add your own message before printing.

The next card has been created using the same size matts and layers as above but in a different design.

Cut out one of the toppers from the image sheet.
Then from one of the other toppers on the sheet cut out a frog.

From the dvd-rom go to page four and print off papers four and five.

From the dvd-rom go to page six and print off sentiment sheet two.
Cut out a sentiment.

Cut a piece from paper five measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.

Using foam pads attach to the card base leaving a small border on the left and a larger border on the right.

Cut a matt layer out of white card for the topper measuring 10.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together using foam pads and attach to the card base over lapping the last layer.

Using white card cut out a matt layer just slightly larger than the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base at the bottom of the topper.

Attach the frog using foam pads to the bottom of the card base. Please see picture for reference.
