Today’s handmade card has been created using The Paper Boutique ‘Butterfly Ballet’ paper and die collection.

This collection is from Creative Crafting World.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 10″ White Card
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet 8″ by 8″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet Topper Collection
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet Butterfly Die Collection
Debbi Moore Floral Flourish Dies
Circle Dies
White Card
Paper Roses
Pink Feathers
Small Silver Gems
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

From the card collection cut a piece from pink card measuring 25 cms by 17.3 cms.
Attach to the card base.

Using white card cut a piece measuring 25 cms by 6 cms.
Choose an insert and cut it to measure 25 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the left side of the card base leaving a small border from the edge.

Using white card cut a piece measuring 17.3 cms by 8 cms.
Using the spotty paper from the paper pad cut a piece measuring 17.3 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the centre of the card base over lapping the first matt and layer.

Using the circle dies cut out the largest one in white card and the next size down in pink card.
Matt and layer together and attach a circle topper using foam pads.
Attach to the centre of the spotty paper layer using foam pads.

Next add a couple of pink feathers to the card base coming from under the topper layer.
Using white card cut out four flourishes and attach to the feathers coming from under the topper layer.
Add a couple of paper roses to the edge of the white circle die cut.

Using a deeper pink card cut out one of the butterflies from the butterfly die collection.
Attach this to the edge of the topper and add a couple small silver gems to the butterfly.
