Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #416 that starts today.

I have used a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps called Butterfly Corner.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Thank You.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 7″ White Card
Bugaboo Stamps called Butterfly Corner
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Square Nested Dies –Thank You Doily Die Collection
Dark Green Card
Light Green Card
White Card
Pink Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image twice.

Layer one:
Cut a square from dark green card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a square from pink card measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms
Cut a square from white card measuring 15 cms by 15 cms.
Cut a square from light green card measuring 14.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Colour in the first digi image Butterfly Corner using promarkers.

Flowers: Magenta, mulberry, mandarin, amber, plum, purple, sunflower, yellow, crimson, berry red.
Leaves: Holly, lush green, olive green, moss, forest green, apple, caramel, sandstone.
Butterflies: Orange, yellow, canary, Azure, cobalt blue, midnight blue, dusky pink, carmine, baby pink.

Colouring parts of the second digi image, please picture for reference.

Flowers: Magenta, mulberry, mandarin, amber.
Leaves: Holly, lush green, olive green, moss.

Cut the first digi image to measure 14 cms by 14 cms.

Cut around the coloured flowers and leaves from the second digi image.
Attach the large flower to the first digi image.
Then attach the other flower and leaf section to the bottom right of first digi image.
Attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Using the sentiment from the doily die set, cut the matt die from pink card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the digi topper at a slight angle.
