Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #427 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps called Chibi Cupcake Peeker
The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Food.
You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
8″ By 8″ White Card
Promarkers
Bugaboo Stamps Digital Image Called Chibi Cupcake Peeker
The Big One Backgrounds Cd-Rom
3 x Circle Nested Dies
Dark Purple Card
Light Purple Card
White Card
Purple Ribbon
Purple Flowers
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Print out the digital image and using the smallest circle die, cut the image out.
Choose two papers from the cd-rom.
Layer one:
Cut a square from dark purple card measuring 19 cm by 19 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 8 cm by 19 cms.
Then cut a piece from dark purple card measuring 7.5 cm by 19 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 7 cm by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach a piece of purple ribbon across the centre.
Attach across the centre of the card base using foam pads.
Layer three:
Colour in the Chibi Cupcake Peeker digital image using promarkers.
Hair: Raw sienna, coral
Skin: Dusky rose, blush, rose pink
Dress: Lavender
Bow: Maroon, mulberry
Cupcake Case: Aubergine, plum, amethyst
Cupcake: Aubergine, plum, amethyst, lavender
Cherry: Crimson, poppy
Cut the largest circle die from dark purple card.
Cut the middle circle die from light purple card.
Matt and layer together along with the circle digital image.
Attach to the card base on the left of layer two.
Layer four:
Make a bow using the purple ribbon.
Attach to the card base on the right of layer two.
Then add a flower to the centre of the bow and some to the circle topper.
