Today’s handmade card has been created using a Paper Boutique paper collection from Creative Crafting World called Christmas Cuddles.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ By 10″ White Card
The Paper Boutique Christmas Cuddles – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Christmas Cuddles – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Christmas Cuddles – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique A Sprinkle Of Winter – Sparkling Season Die Collection
Glue / Double Sided Tape
You will need one insert (with penguins either side), two coloured cards and one circle topper.
From the front of the card base, cut off 8 cms.
Cut a piece from the first coloured card measuring 24.5 cms by 9 cms.
Attach to the front of the card base.
Cut a piece from the first coloured card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Attach to the inside of the card base.
Using the doily die set, cut the matt die from white card.
Cut the decorative die from the second coloured card.
Then cut the circle die from the centre of the insert.
Matt and layer together and cut into four pieces.
Attach two pieces to the front of the card base, one on the top left corner and the other on the bottom right corner.
Attach two pieces to the inside of the card base, one on the top right corner and the other on the bottom left corner.
From the insert cut out the two penguins.
Attach one to the front of the card base using foam pads, slightly over lapping the doily die.
Then attach the other to the inside of the card base using foam pads.
Using the circle die from the doily die set, cut a circle from the first coloured card.
Matt and layer with the circle topper using foam pads.
Attach to the front fold of the card base slightly hanging over the edge.
Using the two small snowflakes, cut out two of each from white card.
Add the larger snowflakes to the two top corners, on top of the doily die cuts.
Then add the two smaller snowflakes to the front fold of the card base.
Adding a silver gem to the centre.
