Christmas Doves – May The Blessing Of The Season Be Yours

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #276.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes + A Sentiment.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog using a digi image called Christmas Doves

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A5 White Card
Jan’s Digi Stamps Digital Image Christmas Doves
Promarker Pens
The Paper Boutique A Christmas Visitor– Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique A Christmas Visitor – 8″ By 8″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Essential Die Collection Volume II
White Card
Green Card
Silver Glitter
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digital image and sentiment, choose one paper and one coloured card.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from green card measuring 14.5 cms by 20.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 14 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a piece from the paper measuring 13.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using the large corner dies, cut four from the coloured card.
Attach to layer one.

Layer three:
Colour in the Christmas Doves digital image. I used Promarkers.

Doves: Icegrey 1, 3, 5, pastel pink, amber.
Berries: Ruby, crimson.
Holly Leaves: Holly, pine, lush green.
Pine Leaves: Pesto, lime zest.

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog using a digi image called Christmas Doves

Cut a piece of green card measuring 11 cms by 16 cms.
Cut the digital image to measure 10.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Add silver glitter to some of the leaves.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using the small corner dies, cut four from the coloured card.
Attach to the corners of the digital image.

Layer five:
To finish cut the sentiment image to measure 2.5 cms by 7.5 cms.
Add silver glitter to the top and sides.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
