Today I am sharing a stepper card that I have made using a paper collection from Creative Crafting World called Christmas Magic.
This card folds flat to fit into an envelope.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
2 x A4 White Card
The Paper Boutique Christmas Magic – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique Christmas Magic – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Christmas Magic – Embellishment Pad
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Choose one coloured card, three backing papers (one backing paper needs to be the one with the deer and fir cones on to cut out smaller toppers), one sentiment, two square toppers (I used the deer topper from the embellishment pad and one square topper from the paper kit).
For the card base, cut a piece of A4 white card to measure 15 cms by 25 cms.
Along the longer edge, from the top go to 5 cms and score down to 5 cms, go to 10 cms and score down to 15 cms, go to 15 cms and score down to 15 cms.
From the bottom go to 20 cms and score from 10 cms to 15 cms.
Along the shorter edge, at the top, go to 5 cms and cut from the first scoreline to third score line.
Then go to 10 cms and cut from the second score line to the fourth scoreline.
Cut a piece of card measuring 10 cms by 20 cms.
Score and fold in half to make a small card.
Layer one:
Cut a square from coloured card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 8.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together along with the deer topper from the embellishment pad.
Attach to the card base on the top right.
Using the same topper decoupage the deer image, using foam pads.
Then add the sentiment to the top left of the topper.
Layer two:
Cut seven squares from coloured card measuring 4.5 cms by 4.5 cms.
Cut three squares from the second paper measuring 4 cms by 4 cms.
Matt and layer with three of the coloured card squares.
Attach to the centre squares on the card base.
Next cut four squares from the first paper measuring 4 cms by 4 cms.
Matt and layer together along with four of the coloured card squares.
Attach to the other squares on the card base.
Using the deer and fir cone backing paper, cut out four small toppers, attach to the four squares using foam pads.
Layer three:
Cut two squares from coloured card measuring 9.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer with one of the coloured squares and attach to the inside of the smaller card.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer with the other coloured card square along with the second square topper.
Next attach the square card to the card base on the bottom left.
