Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge #80.

For my Design Team card I have used one of SheepSki Designs digital images called Christmas Post Box.

The theme for the challenge is ‘Getting Ready For Christmas’.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Christmas Post Box
Touch Mika Alcohol Marker Pens
The Crafty Witches – Snowy Day Friends Digital Download Collection
White Card
Blue Card
Christmas Wooden Sentiment
Small Red Pearl Beads
Silver Glitter Glue
Glue / Double Sided Tape

Instructions:

Print the digital image Christmas Post Box on to white card.
Choose and print two patterned papers and the blue flower sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from blue card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from blue card measuring 16.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 16 cms by 11 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Christmas Post Box.

Postbox: Wine red, carmine, scarlet, blue grey, yellow, ochre, marigold, dark yellow, black, warm grey 6.
Snow: Green grey, silver glitter glue.
Holly And Berries: Brick brown, rose beige, turquoise green, deep olive green, coral pink, carmine.
Fence: Sand, rose beige, terracotta.
Robin: Vermilion, orange, terracotta, carmine, barley, beige, cream.

Cut the image to measure 13.5 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from blue card measuring 14 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base over lapping all layers.

Layer four:
From the flower sheet, cut out two different size flowers.
Attach each of the flowers together and attach to the card base.
Add four small red pearl beads to the centre.

Layer five:
Attach the wooden sentiment to the card base.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
