Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.
For my card I have used one of their digital images called Come Softly.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Image Called Come Softly
White Card
Black Card

Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Print the digital image Come Softly on to white card.
Choose and print one plain paper, one patterned paper and one sentiment sheet.
Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a square from plain paper measuring 16 cms by 10 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 10 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from patterned paper measuring 9.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut each square in half from corner to corner.
Matt and layer together making two triangles.
Attach one to the top right corner and one to the bottom left corner of the card base using foam pads.
Layer three:
Colour in the Come Softly digital image, I used promarker pens.
Hair: Midnight blue, sky blue, cobalt blue, cloud blue.
Skin / Face: Powder blue, pearl blue, coral, blossom.
Clothes: Salmon pink, antique pink.
Butterfly: Mandarin, amber, coral, black, burnt sienna, aegean.
Background: Mango, gold, mustard.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 12.5 cms by 10 cms.
Matt and layer with with image and attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer four:
Using black card cut a black matt for the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base
