Today’s handmade card has been created for inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Cowgirl Dollie.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card Base
Ching-Chou Kuik‘s Digital Stamp Called Cowgirl Dollie
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches Sweetest Paradise Digital Download Collection
Circle Dies
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image on to white card.
Print two plain papers, one patterned paper, one circle topper sheet and one sentiment sheet.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the first plain paper measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a square from patterned paper measuring 15.5 cms by 15.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using circle dies, cut two different size circle toppers out.
Then using two slightly larger circle dies cut out two matt layers from the second plain paper.
Matt and layer each together and attach to the card base on the right.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image Cowgirl Dollie, I used promarker pens.

Skin / Face: Ivory, satin, sandstone.
Hair: Buttercup, tulip yellow, mustard.
Hat / Skirt / Bandana: Baby pink, carmine, antique pink.
Shirt: Fuchsia pink, purple, plum.
Waist Coat / Boots: Pear green, olive green, cool grey 5.
Hobby Horse: Burnt umber, terracotta, apricot, cocoa, baby pink, burnt orange, saddle brown, arctic blue, azure.

Cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a white matt layer for the sentiment.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
