Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #399 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps called Simple Cute Birthday Elephant.

The theme for this challenge is anything goes with an optional theme of Circles, but you must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Scallop Card
Bugaboo Stamps called Simple Cute Birthday Elephant
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Lovely Lavender Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Dusky Pink Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Square Die Collection – Sentiment Collection
Circle Dies
White Card
Red Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image and then using a large circle die cut the digi image into a circle topper.
Next choose two lilac paper and one pink paper.

Layer one:
Cut a square from red card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from the first lilac paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using a range of circle die sizes cut six circles out from red card, pink paper and lilac paper.
Attach three circles to the bottom left and three circles to the top right of the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the birthday elephant digi image using promarkers:

Elephant: Cool grey 1, 2, 3, 5, pastel pink.
Balloon: Amethyst, violet.
Present: Lipstick red, burgundy.
Hat: Lavender, berry red, amethyst

Attach the birthday elephant digi image to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Using the happy birthday sentiment, cut the matt die from red card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the top left.

Layer five:
Cut a square from red card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from lilac paper measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 17 cms by 17 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
