Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #269.

The theme for this challenge is Spring + a sentiment.

We could use any image for this challenge so I have used a digital stamp from Ike’s Art called Daffodil Fairy.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Ike’s Art Digi Image called Daffodil Fairy
Chameleon Pens
The Paper Boutique Spring Whispers – Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Springtime Blooms – Sentiments Volume XIII Die Collection
White Card
Yellow Card
Flower Embellishments
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose one paper from the paper pad and print off the digi image.

Layer one:
Cut a square from yellow card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from yellow card measuring 15.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 15 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Colour in the digi image Daffodil Fairy, I have used chameleon pens.

Skin: NU1
Lips / Eyes: PK4, PK3, BL4
Flowers: YO3, YO2, GR4, YL2

Next cut a piece from yellow card measuring 14.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut the digi image to measure 14 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer four:
Using the sentiment die, cut the matt die from yellow card.
Cut the sentient from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Add the flower embellishments to the card design.
