Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge #74.

For my Design Team card I have used one of SheepSki Designs digital images called Dahlias.

The theme for the challenge is Flower Power.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 10″ White Card Base
SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp Called Dahlias
Promarkers
The Crafty Witches – Floral Abundance Digital Download Collection
The Paper Boutique Blossom And Flourish Doily Die Collection
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Dahlias on to white card.
Then print two plain papers and one patterned paper.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from the first plain paper measuring 17.5 cms by 25 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 17 cms by 24.5 cms.
Cut a piece from patterned paper measuring 16.5 cms by 24 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Colour in the Dahlias image, I used promarkers.

Flowers: Baby pink, pink carnation, dusky pink, firebrick, salmon pink, antique pink, shale, slate, tulip yellow, mustard, amber, orange, saddle brown, caramel.
Stems: Olive green, marsh green.

Cut the image to measure 12.5 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a piece from the second coloured paper measuring 13 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Using the sentiment die from the doily die collection.
Cut the matt die from the second coloured card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a piece from the first plain paper measuring 17.5 cms by 25 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 17 cms by 24.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
