Daisy Panel – Bee Happy

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #415 that starts today.

I have used a digi image from SheepSki Designs called Daisy Panel.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Colour Inspiration using the below image,

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Handmade card using digi image from SheepSki Designs called Daisy Panel.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 10″ White Card
SheepSki Designs Digi Image Daisy Panel
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Powder Blue Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Garden Visitors – Bee Happy Doily Die Collection
Blue Card
White Card
Cream Card
Blue Ink Pad
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose two papers from the paper pad.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from cream card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a piece from blue card measuring 23.5 cms by 16 cms.
Edge each side using the blue ink pad.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from cream card measuring 14 cms by 14 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 13.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 13 cms by 13 cms.
Cut each piece in half from corner to corner.
Then edge each side using the blue ink pad.
Matt and layer one of each piece together to make two triangles.
Attach one to the top right and one to the bottom left of the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from cream card measuring 20 cms by 8 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 7.5 cms.
Cut a piece from blue card measuring 19 cms by 7 cms.
Edge each side using the blue ink pad.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, slightly over lapping each corner piece.

Layer four:
Colour in the digi image Daisy Panel using promarkers.

Flowers: Marine, turquoise, green, true blue, azure, sky blue, champagne, satin, ivory, tulip yellow, lemon, soft lime, pine, emerald.

Cut the topper to measure 17 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece of cream card measuring 17.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Edge each side using the blue ink pad.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base slightly over lapping layer three.

Layer five:
Using the sentiment from the doily die set, cut the matt die from blue card.
Then cut the sentiment from cream card.
Edge each piece using the blue ink pad.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer six:
Using the small bee dies from the doily die set, cut two from black card.
Then attach to the card base to finish off the design.
