Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #401 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Dr. Digi’s called Derek Clapton

The theme for this challenge is anything goes, but you must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
Dr. Digi’s Digi Image Called Derek Clapton
Promarkers
The Big One Backgrounds Cd-Rom
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancy – Sentiment Volume XX Collection
White Card
Brown Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image and two papers from the cd rom.

Layer one:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 20 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 20 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 11.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 11 cms by 13 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Next cut a piece from the second paper measuring 11 cms by 5 cms
Then attach to the matt and layer on the right side.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping layer one and two.

Layer four:
Colour in the digi image, Derek Clapton using promarkers.

Tops: Forest green apple. dusky pink, satin.
Trousers: Cinnamon, tan.
Socks: Lush green grass, meadow green.
Slippers: Henna, walnut, cocoa, cool grey 4.
Skin: Satin, almond.
Moustache: Cool grey 3, coll grey 1.
Cupboard: Firebrick, crimson, burnt sienna.
Cloth: Ginger.
Radio: Saddle brown, caramel, praline.
Cup: Cool aqua, poppy, caramel.
Racket: Burnt sienna, cinnamon, cool grey 3, cool grey 5.
Headphones: Black, cool grey 2, cool grey 4, cool grey 5, gold, pumpkin.

Cut out the digi image and attach to layer three using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using a sentiment die set, cut the matt layer from brown card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the top of layer two using foam pads.

Layer six:
Cut a square from brown card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.

Layer seven:
Cut a piece from brown card measuring 20 cms by 8.5 cms.
Cut a piece from paper two measuring 20 cms by 8 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer six on the left.
