Today’s handmade card has been created using a digi image design from Craftsuprint called Digi Stamp Owls 3 (ref cup474196_66) by Sheila Rodgers.
This image sheet comes with two different owl pictures and four sentiments.
Here is the second image I used to make a card.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
7″ By 10″ White Card
Digi Stamp Owls 3
Chameleon Pens
2 x Decorative Papers (Ones Used Are From Creative Crafting World)
Black Card
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Print off the digi stamp Owls 3 and cut out the first picture and two sentiments.
Score and fold the front of the card base in half to make a z-fold card.
Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from the first decorative paper measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the inside of the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 24.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second decorative paper measuring 24 cms by 8 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the front fold of the card base.
Layer three:
Colour in the Owl digi image, I have used Chameleon pens.
Owls: NG4, CG8, CG9, YO2, YO3.
Tree: OL3, GR2, BR4.
Next cut a piece from black card measuring 10.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the digi image.
Attach part of the layer to the front of the card base using foam pads.
Layer four:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 3 cms by 11 cms.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 2.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the ‘To My Husband’ sentiment.
Attach to the front of the card base just above the digi image, using foam pads.
Layer five:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 3 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 2.5 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer with the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment.
Attach to the front of the card base just below the digi image, using foam pads.
Layer six:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 10 cms by 16 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 9.5 cms by 15.5 cms.

Attach to the inside of the card base, level with the topper, this is where you can write a message.
