Today’s handmade card has been created using a digi image from Ike’s Art called Dragon 1.

I have coloured the Dragon digi image in with promarkers.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Scallop Card
Promarkers
Ike’s Art Digi Image Dragon 1
The Paper Boutique Secret Romance – Sentiment Volume X
Black Card
Green Card
Red Card
Glitter Card
Small Heart Die
White Ribbon
Green Ribbon
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

First colour the digi image using promarkers.

The promarkers used were :

Dragon Body: Lavender, violet, grass, arctic blue, china blue, meadow green, apricot, pastel yellow.
Dragon Belly: Blush, soft peach.
Dragon Wings: Meadow green, grass.
Heart: Berry red, poppy.
Castle: Black, cool grey 1, 2, 3, 4.
Stones: Cinnamon, tan.

Next cut the dragon digi image to measure 13.5 cms by 8.5 cms.

Using black card cut a square measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from green card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Next add a strip of white ribbon across the top left corner and two strips of white ribbon across the bottom right corner.
Add green ribbon across the center of the white ribbon.

Attach the layer to the base card.

Cut a piece from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from green card measuring 14 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer together along with the dragon digi image.
Then attach to the left side of the card base slightly over lapping the ribbons.

Using a small heart die cut one out in red card and two out in glitter card.
Attach to the card base on the right using foam pads.

To finish add a sentiment.
Cut the matt die out in black card and the sentiment die out in green card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the bottom right, over lapping the ribbon.
