Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #398 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Dr Digi’s House Of Stamps called Elliot And Elvis.
The theme for this challenge is anything goes with an optional theme Christmas . You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

The Paper Boutique A Whisper Of Winter – Dashing Through The Snow Die Collection
The Paper Boutique A Whisper Of Winter – Snowflake Embellishment Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Wreath Collection – Sentiment Volume VII Die Collection
Small Snowflake Punch
White Card
Red Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Print off the digi image and then choose a backing paper from the cd-rom.
Layer one:
Cut a square from red card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Cut a square from the backing paper measuring 18 cms by 18 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Using the die set, cut the matt die out from red card and the decorative die out from white card.
Then cut the circle die out from red card.
Matt and layer together.
Next using a snowflake embellishment cut two out from white card and overlay them on to snow flake on the die cut.
Attach to the card base at a slight angle.
Add silver pearls to the centre of the snowflakes.
Layer three:
Colour in the digi image using promarkers.
Elliot:
Clothes: Berry red, tan, gold, blush, orange, cool grey 3.
Skin: Putty.
Elvis:
Clothes: Lush green, lemon, gold, orange, tan, cool grey 3.
Skin: Satin.
Candy cane: Red, cool grey 1
Present: Turquoise, cool aqua. cobalt blue, ivory.
Cut the digi image out leaving a small white border all around.
Attach to the card base using double foam pads, slightly over lapping layer two.
Layer four:
Using a sentiment cut the matt die out from white card.
Cut the sentiment out from red card.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer two using foam pads.
Layer five:
Using the snowflake punch, cut out one snowflake from red card.
Attach to the label on the digi image adding a small silver pearl to the centre.
