Today’s handmade card has been created using a digital image called Feeling Zen from The Crafty Witches.

Along with papers from Spellbinding Classic Midnight collection and insert from Spellbinding 240 Essential Inserts collection from The Crafty Witches.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ x 7″ White Card Base
The Crafty Witches Digital Stamp Called Feeling Zen
The Crafty Witches  – Spellbinding Classic Midnight collection
The Crafty Witches  – Spellbinding 240 Essential Inserts collection
Promarker Pens
White Card
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Feeling Zen on to white card, choose two papers, one sentiment and one insert.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 16.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Colour in the digital image Feeling Zen. I used Promarker pens.

Skin: Satin, blush, almond
Hair: Burnt sienna, chestnut, raw sienna
Flowers / Greenery: Crimson, berry red, poppy, mandarin, sunflower, emerald, holly, grass, bright green, green, pear green, olive green, moss, buttercup, tulip yellow, gold, mustard.
Butterfly: Carmine, mulberry, antique pink, cocktail pink, baby pink

Cut a piece from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut the digital image to measure 14 cms by 12 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut a square from the second paper measuring 4 cms by 4 cms.
Cut in half to make two triangles.
Attach to the left corners of the digital image using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a piece of black card measuring 3 cms by 5.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the sentiment and attach to the card base.

Layer five:
To finish attach an insert to the inside of the card base.
