Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #256 that starts today.

The theme for this challenge is Things with Wings + A Sentiment.

For my card I have used a digi image from Crafty Sentiments Designs called Flora.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

Crafty Sentiments Designs Called Flora
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet – Card And Envelope Set
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet – Coloured Card Collection
Chameleon Pens
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

You will need two of the same pre-made cards, one coloured card and one square topper.

Layer one:
Cut a square from coloured card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 8.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together along with the square topper.
Attach to the card base on the right.

Layer two:
Colour in the digi image Flora using chameleon pens.

PK5, PK3, PK4, BV2, NU3, NU4, NU1, GR2, BR5, BR2.

Cut around the digi image leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base using foam pads to the bottom left corner of the topper.

Layer three:
Using the second pre-made card, fussy cut the top and bottom flowers.
Attach each flower to the same image on the card base using foam pads.
Then fussy cut the butterfly from the pre-made card.
Attach to the same image on the card base using pads.
This gives the front of the card some depth.
