Flower Ladybug Love – Happy Anniversary

Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #403 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps called Flower Ladybug Love.

The theme for this challenge is Love, Wedding, Anniversary, but you must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
Bugaboo Stamps Digi Image Called Flower Ladybug Love
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Sunflower Song – Paper Kit
The Paper Boutique Occasions and Celebrations Volume I Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Secret Romance – Embellishment Die Collection
White Card
Yellow Card
Red Gem
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image and choose three papers.

Layer one:
Cut a square from yellow card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 20 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from yellow card measuring 20 cms by 6.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 20 cms by 6 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left.

Layer three:
Cut a square from white card measuring 12.5 cms by 12.5 cms.
Cut a square from yellow card measuring 12 cms by 12 cms.
Cut a square from the third paper measuring 11.5 cms by 11.5 cms.
Cut each piece in half from corner to corner.
Matt and layer one of each together and attach to the card base on the top left, using foam pads.

Layer four:
Colour in the digi image, Flower Ladybug Love using promarkers.

Sky: Cool Aqua
Flower Petals: Orange, bright orange, apricot.
Flower Centre: Walnut, cocoa.
Leaves / Grass: Pesto, herb green.
Ladybugs: Crimson, poppy, cool grey 4, cool grey 3.
Heart: Crimson, poppy.

Next cut a piece from yellow card measuring 8.5 cms by 12.1 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 9 cms by 12.7 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Cut the digi image topper to measure 8 cms by 11.6 cms.
Then matt and layer using foam pads.
Attach to the card base using foam pads, slightly over lapping all layers.

Layer five:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from yellow card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer six:
Using the bow die, cut one from white card and on from yellow card.
Trim off the bottom part of the bow on each and then matt and layer together.
Attach to the top right of the digi image and add a red gem to the centre.
