Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #513

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Add Some Ribbon.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

For my card I have used one of their digital images called Flower Petals.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ x 8″ White Card Base
Heather Valentin – Colour Of Love Digital Stamp Called Flower Petals
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Happy Days – Decorative Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Happy Days – Embellishment Pad
White Card
Black Card
Red Ribbon
Black Ribbon
Black Pearl Beads
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print the digital image Flower Petals on to white card.
Choose two backing papers and one sentiment.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 17 cms by 10 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 16.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 4 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 3.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach red ribbon across the length.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Colour in the digital image Flower Petals, I used Promarkers.

Skin / Face: Almond, dusky pink, berry red, cerise, dusky rose.
Hair: Chestnut, burnt sienna, praline.
Dress: Antique pink, baby pink, blossom, lipstick red, satin.
Flowers: Berry red, lipstick red, orange, crimson, yellow, mandarin, holly.

Cut the digital image to measure 11.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 12 cms by 9.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using the red and black ribbon, make a small bow.
Attach to layer three, adding a black pearl bead to the centre.

Layer six:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 4 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer with the sentiment.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Add a few black pearl beads to the card base.
