Todays card has been made using a new paper pad from Creative Crafting World called ‘Flutterby Butterflies’.
This paper pad is from The Paper Boutique range.
You will need:
Flutterby Butterflies Paper Pad
8″ by 8″ Cream Card
Paper Boutique Die (Best Wishes Nested Die Set)
Butterfly Die
A4 Cream Card
A4 Kraft Card
Pearl Beads
Foam Pads
Wet Glue
Instructions:
To start, choose three papers from the paper pad.
Using the kraft card cut a square measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Then cut a square from one of the patterned papers measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms
Matt and layer these two squares, using the kraft card as the base layer and attach to the cream card base.
Next using the paper boutique doily dies cut the base layer die from kraft card and the doily die from cream card.
Matt and layer these and then attach to your card.
Cut a piece of kraft card measuring 19 cms by 7 cms.
Then cut a piece of patterned paper measuring 18.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer these together, again using the kraft card as the base layer.
Using foam pads place this part way over the doily die cut. Please see image for reference.
Next using kraft cut a piece measuring 15 cms by 3 cms and cut one end into a swallow tail shape.
Using a patterned paper cut a piece measuring 14 cms by 2.5 cms and again cut one end into a swallow tail shape.
Matt and layer these together.
Using foam pads attach this to your card. Please see image for reference.
To finish off the design cut out a butterfly. I have used kraft card as a base colour and cream card for the main butterfly die.
Add pearl beads to the doily and butterfly.
