Today’s handmade card has been created using a digi image from SheepSki Designs called Gaming Dude

This card was made for my sons birthday, as like most boys gaming is his life.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 7″ White Card
SheepSki Designs Digi Image called Gaming Dude
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partner – Navy & White Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Male Relations Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancy – Sentiments Volume XX
Chameleon Pens
Black Card
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose two papers from the paper pad.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut two squares from white card measuring 9.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut two squares from black card measuring 9 cms by 9 cms.
Cut two squares from the second paper measuring 8.5 cms by 8.5 cms
Matt and layer together making two square layers.
Attach one square to the top left and one to the bottom right.

Layer three:
Colour in the Gaming Dude digi image.
I used Chameleon pens.

Skin: NU00, NU1
Hair: BR1, BR5
Jumper: BL4
Gaming Equipment: BK4. CG9, BL7, BL6, NG4

Layer four:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 11 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 10.5 cms by 9 cms.
Then cut the topper to measure 10 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together using foam pads.
Attach to the card base slightly over lapping all layers.

Layer five:
Using a sentiment from the male relations die set, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer and attach to the card base.

Layer six:
Using a sentiment from volume XX, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer and attach to the card base.
