Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #277.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes + A Sentiment.

You can make any type of project such as a card, tag, scrapbook layout, pocket letter, box etc.

We could make any card this time so I have used a digital image from Twistoon called Georges Hammock Gnome.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Twistoon Digital Image Georges Hammock Gnome
Chameleon Pens
The Paper Boutique A Summer Garden – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique A Summer Garden – 8″ By 8″ Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Male Relations Die Collection – Dad
The Paper Boutique Occasion and Celebration Die Collection – Happy Father’s Day
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digital image, choose two of the same papers and one coloured card.

Layer one:
Cut a square from coloured card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Cut a square from one of the papers measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Using the second paper, cut around the flower image.
Attach to the same image on the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in the Georges Hammock Gnome digital image.
I used Chameleon pens.

Gnome: NU2, NG4, BR1, RD5, CG9, BR5
Hammock: BL6
Flowers: GR3, RD4, YO2

Cut a round the digital image, leaving a small white border.
Attach to the card base using foam pads, placing the bottom of the flowers slightly under layer two.

Layer four:
Using the sentiment dies, cut the matt layers from white card.
Cut the sentiments from coloured card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
To finish I added ‘Have A Relaxing Day’ using word.
I cut the sentence up and attached to the card base.
