The card I am sharing today is a happy birthday card that I made for my husband.

I used a digital image from Bugaboo Stamps called Stella Love – Person To Annoy.

I’m glad he found the sentiment funny.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

A5 White Card
Bugaboo Stamps Digital Image called Stella Love – Person To Annoy
Promarker Pens
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Powder Blue Paper Pad
The Paper Boutique Male Relations Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Square Die Collection – Sentiment Collection
White Card
Black Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digital image and sentiment, choose two papers from the paper pad.

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 14.5 cms by 20.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 14 cms by 20 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 5 cms by 20.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 4.5 cms by 20 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer three:
Colour in the digital image, I used Promarkers.

Skin: Pastel pink, putty.
Hair: Praline, warm grey 2, warm grey 5.
Dress: Antique pink, baby pink.
Top: Ice grey 1, ice grey 2, ice grey 4.
Pants: True blue, azure.
Socks: Pumpkin, amber, black.
Slippers, Ice grey 5, ice grey 1, carmine, baby pink.

Cut a piece of black card measuring 12.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut the digital image to measure 12 cms by 9 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer four:
Cut a piece of black card measuring 6 cms by 8 cms.
Cut the sentiment to measure 5.5 cms by 7.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.

Layer five:
Using a birthday and husband sentiment, cut the matt dies from black card.
Cut the sentiments from white card.
Matt and layer each together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
