I created this handmade card for my nephews 1st Birthday using dies from Creative Crafting World.

I needed a paper to go with the moon and stars and found the perfect paper on the Big One background cd-rom by La Pashe (Splash Crafts)

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ by 10″ White Card
The Big One Backgrounds Cd-Rom
The Paper Boutique Celestial – You Are My World Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Celestial –  Embellishment Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Male Relations Volume 1
The Paper Boutique Sentiments Collection 2
Number Dies
Constellation Jade Pearl White Card
Light Blue Card
Dark Blue Card
Black Card
White Card
Yellow Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Cut a piece from black card measuring 17.3 cms by 25 cms.
Cut a piece from light blue card measuring 16.8 cms by 24.5 cms.
Then cut a piece from white card measuring 16.3 cms by 24 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Cut a piece from black card measuring 10 cms by 25 cms.
Cut a piece from light blue card measuring 9.5 cms by 25 cms.
Choose a paper from the cd-rom and cut a piece measuring 9 cms by 25 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach across the centre of the card base.

The paper that I used from the cd-rom was from the bonus everyday folder.

Next using the your are my world doily die collection, cut the matt layer out in black card.
Then cut the doily die out in white card, dark blue card, yellow card, light blue card and the constellation card.
Matt and layer the white die cut to the black matt layer.
With the other colours paper piece them on to the white doily die cut.
Save everything that leftover for other projects.
When finished attach to the left of the card base.

Cut out a light blue circle using the centre circle die.
Attach to the die cut layer using foam pads.

Next you can either print a picture for the centre of the circle die cut or use a topper.
Attach to the circle die cut using foam pads.

Using the embellishment collection, cut the matt die layer of the planet die out of black card.
Cut the planet out of white card.
Then cut the planet ring out of yellow card.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the top right of the card base.
Next cut the small star matt die layers out of black card.
Cut the stars out of yellow card.
Pinch the star points together and matt and layer together using foam pads.
Attach to the right side of the card base.

Cut the sentiment matt layers out of light blue card.
Cut the sentiments out of white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

To finish the front of the card base I add a number one to the planet using light blue and yellow card.

For the inside, cut a piece of black card measuring 17.3 cms by 25 cms.
Then cut a piece of white card measuring 16.8 cms by 24.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the inside of the card base.

Cut a piece out of black card measuring 17.3 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from the paper measuring 17.3 cms by 6.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the inside of the card base on the left.
