Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #584.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of ‘In The Pink’.

To participate, you must use alcohol markers in your project, any brand is excepted.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Paper Nest Dolls.
For my card I have used one of their digital images from the Hippos set.

Print the Hippo digital image onto white card.

Create Layer One:

Cut one of the pink patterned papers to 16 cm x 16 cm.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Create Layer Two
Cut a piece of pink card using one of the nesting dies.
Next select a slightly smaller nesting dies and cut out one of the patterned papers.
Matt and layer together, then attach to the left side of the card base using foam pads for dimension.

Create Layer Three
Cut two pieces of pink card using one of the thin nesting dies.
Then using the decorative thin nesting die, cut two patterned papers.
Matt and layer each pair together and attach to layer two.

Create Layer Four  Colour the Digital Image:
Use Promarker pens to colour the Hippo digital image.
Here are the colours I used:

Hippo: Cool grey 3, 4, 5, Pink carnation, rose pink.
Clothes: Pale pink, cocktail pink, salmon pink, carnation, rose pink, cerise, maroon.
Teddy Bear: Baby pink, antique pink, ruby.

Once coloured, carefully cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Then, attach the image to your card using foam pads.

Create Layer Five
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt layer from dark pink card.
Then die cut the words in a lighter pink card.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer three.

Final Touches:
Finish by adding an insert inside the card base so you can write a personal message.
