Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #423 that starts today.

I have used a digi image from Paper Nest Dolls called Holiday Friends

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Add Three Layers.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ By 8″ White Card
Promarkers
Paper Nest Dolls Digi Image Called Holiday Friends
The Paper Boutique A Traditional Christmas – Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique A Traditional Christmas – Insert Collection
The Paper Boutique Winter Gnomes – Stamp Collection
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image and cut to measure 16 cms by 9.5 cms.
Choose two coloured cards and one insert.

Layer one:
Cut a square from the first coloured card measuring 19 cm by 19 cms.
Cut a square from the insert measuring 18.5 cms by 18.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from the second coloured card measuring 19 cms by 8.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the insert measuring 18.5 cms by 8 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the card base on the left using foam pads.


Layer three:
Colour in the Holiday Friends digi image using promarkers.

Skin: Dusky pink, blush
Hair: Raw sienna, caramel, sandstone
Coat / Hat: Crimson, berry red, lipstick red, ice grey 5, ice grey 3, ice grey 1
Cape / Boots / Gloves: Cornflower, blue pearl, powder blue, ice grey 3
Bells: Cool grey 5, cool grey 3
Deer / Bow: Cocoa, spice, sandstone, warm grey 4, warm grey 1, cardinal red, poppy, cocktail pink

Then add a Christmas sentiment from the stamp collection to the top right corner.

Cut a piece from the first coloured card measuring 16.5 cms by 10 cms.
Matt and layer with the digi image and attach to the card base, using foam pads.
To finish add an insert to the inside of the card base.
