Today’s handmade card has been created for the challenge at I Love Promarkers Challenge #586.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the optional twist of ‘Magical’.

To participate, your project must feature alcohol markers, any brand is excepted.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is Colour Of Love.

Instructions:

Print and Prepare the Digital Image:
Print the digital image onto white card.
Print one plain paper, two patterned papers from the Cloudy Day collection.
Print a sentiment sheet from Essentials Sentiments Volume II.

Create Layer One:
Cut the plain paper to 20.5 cm x 14.5 cm.
Cut white card to 20 cm x 14 cm.
Cut one patterned paper to 19.5 cm x 13.5 cm.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Create Layer Two
Die-cut two squares from white card using two different-sized square nesting dies.
Using two slightly smaller dies, cut two squares from the second patterned paper.
Matt and layer together, then attach to the card base using foam pads for added depth.

Create Layer Three
Using two circle dies cut out a sentiment and a matt layer from plain paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer two.

Create Layer Four  Colour the Digital Image:
Use Promarker pens to colour the digital image.
Here are the colours I used:

Skin / Face: Satin, champagne, ivory, pale blossom, cobalt blue
Hair: Burnt sienna, coral, raw sienna, cinnamon, burnt orange, sunflower, tulip yellow, cadet blue, pebble blue.
Clothes: Cadet blue, pebble blue, cloud blue, storm blue, cool grey 3.

Once coloured, carefully cut around the image, leaving a small white border.
Attach the image to the card using foam pads for dimension.

Create Layer Four
Using the snowflake punch, cut two snowflakes from plain paper and attach to the card base.
Add small silver gems to the centre of each snowflake and scatter a few onto the main image for extra sparkle.

Final Touches:
Add an insert inside the card so you can include a personal message.
