Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at Aud Sentiments challenge blog #250 that starts today.

The theme for this challenge is  Masculine + Sentiment.

For my card I have used a digi image from Dr. Digi’s called I.T. Ian

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

7″ By 10″ White Card
Dr. Digi’s called I.T. Ian
Chameleon Pens
The Big One Backgrounds Cd-Rom
The Paper Boutique Filigree Fancy – Sentiment Volume XX
Black Card
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose three papers from the cd-rom..

Layer one:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from white measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the first paper measuring 23.5 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 11.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 11 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from the second paper measuring 10.5 cms by 17 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, leaving a small border on the bottom and a larger border on the top.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from black card measuring 24.5 cms by 9.5 cms.
Cut a piece from white card measuring 24.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from the third paper measuring 24.5 cms by 8.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the left using foam pads.

Layer four:
Colour in the digi image I.T. Ian, I have used Chameleon pens.

Skin: NU1
Beard: OR3
Eyes: BL2
Trousers: BL6
T-Shirt: NG4, RD3
Shoes: CG9, BR1, YO2
Computer: BK4, WG3, BR4
Screw Driver: CG5, BR5

Cut a piece from black card measuring 14 cms by 11 cms.
Cut the I.T. Ian topper to measure 13.5 cms by 10.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Attach to the card base using foam pads slightly over lapping all layers.

Layer five:
Using a sentiment, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer three.

Layer six:
Cut a piece of black card measuring 24.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece of white card measuring 24 cms by 16.5 cms.
Matt and layer together.
Next cut a piece from the third paper measuring 24 cms by 6 cms.
Attach to the left of the white card.
Then attach to the inside of the card base.
