Today’s card has been made using the new Paper Boutique paper collection from Creative Crafting World called ‘For Him’.

This collection is first showing on Create and Craft on Thursday the 27th, along with new Male and Female Relations, Occasion and Celebration die collections.

To make this card you will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
The Paper Boutique ‘For Him’ Topper and Paper Collection
The Paper Boutique ‘For Him’ Coloured Card Collection
The Paper Boutique ‘Male Relations’ Dies ‘Dad’
The Paper Boutique ‘Occasion and Celebration’ Dies ‘Happy Father’s Day’
Circle Die
A4 White Card
A4 Black Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Choose a round topper, one coloured card and one patterned paper.

Using black card cut a square measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Attach to the front of the card base.

Next cut a square from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms and a square from the coloured card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer these together. Then cut out a circle using a circle die. Make this slightly off centred.

Next using black card cut out four pieces measuring 5 cms by 20.9 cms (length of the card) and four pieces from the patterned card measuring 4.5 cms.
Then take each piece and cut from one point to the opposite point.
Matt and Layer these together.

Using foam pads attach these pieces to the blue card with the circle cut out, leaving a gap between them. In a sunburst design.
Cut the pieces that over lap the circle.

Add the topper to the card base making sure that it will be in the same place as the circle hole.

Using foam pads attach the sunburst layer to the card base.

To finish off cut the matt layer out in black for the sentiments and the sentiments out in coloured card.

You can of course use any sentiment, these ones have been used to show the new Relations, Occasion and Celebration dies.
