Today’s handmade card has been created using a digital stamp from Stampers Delight.
This digital image is called Kawaii Miss Kitty.
Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.
You will need :
8″ By 8″ White Card

Promarkers

Corner Punch
Butterfly Punch
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads
Instructions:
Print off Kawaii Miss Kitty digital image on to white card along with one of the sentiments.
Choose three plain coloured cards and one patterned card from the essential card collection. Then two decorative papers and one insert.
Layer one:
Cut a square from the first plain card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first decorative paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.
Layer two:
Cut a piece from the second plain card measuring 18 cms by 7 cms.
Cut a piece from the patterned card measuring 17.5 cms by 6.5 cms.
Use the corner punch to round all corners.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the right.
Layer three:
Cut a piece from the first plain card measuring 15.5 cms by 9 cms.
Cut a piece from the first decorative card measuring 15 cms by 8.5 cms.
Use the corner punch to round all corners.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, slightly over lapping the first two layers.
Layer four:
Colour in the Kawaii Miss Kitty digital image and sentiment. I used promarkers.
Hair: Gold, buttercup, vanilla
Skin: Pastel pink, champagne, putty, blush
Clothes: Cocktail pink, pale pink, pale blossom, pink carnation, rose pink, blossom
Cat Hat: Burnt sienna, chestnut, cocoa, black, soft peach, rose pink, blossom, sunkissed pink
Letters: Buttercup, cocoa, pink carnation, rose pink
Cut the digital image to measure 11.5 by 9.5.
Cut a piece from the second plain card measuring 12 cms by 10 cms.
Use the corner punch to round all corners.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base, slightly over lapping all layers.
Next cut the sentiment into three strips.
Using the third plain card make three matts for the sentiments.
Attach to the card base using foam pads.
Layer five:
Using a butterfly punch , add a couple of butterflies with silver gem centre’s to the card base.
Then add an insert to the centre of the card base.
