Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #419 that starts today.

I have used a digi image from Eekers – Knitty Kitty called Kit T and Cake.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Use An Animal.

You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
Eekers – Knitty Kitty Digi Image Kit T and Cake
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Perfect Partners – Powder Blue Paper pad
The Paper Boutique Steampunk Romance – Sentiment Volume XIV Die Collection
Black Card
White Card
Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Print off the digi image twice.
Then choose three patterned papers and one plain paper.

Layer one:
Cut a square from black card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Cut a square from the first patterned paper measuring 19 cms by 19 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Cut a square from white card measuring 17 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a square from black card measuring 16.5 cms by 16.5 cms.
Cut a square from the plain paper measuring 16 cms by 16 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer three:
Cut a piece from white card measuring 6.5 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 6 cms by 17 cms.
Cut a piece from the second patterned paper measuring 5.5 cms by 17 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to layer two on the left.

Layer four:
Colour in the digi image Kit T and Cake using promarkers.

Using the first digi image, colour in the cat/tea cup and the cat/cake and the banner.

Cat / Tea Cup / Tea: Ginger, mango, apricot, baby pink – Cornflower, blue pearl, powder blue – Burnt sienna, cocoa.
Cat / Cake: Cool Grey 5, cool grey 3, baby pink – Burnt umber, chestnut, burnt orange, ruby, berry red.
Spoon / Fork: Ice grey 5, Ice grey 3, Ice grey 1.
Banner: French navy, sky blue.

Cut out the coloured digi images.

Using the second digi image, colour in the wall, tea pot and cat.

Wall: Coral
Cat / Tea Pot: Burnt orange, saddle brown, spice – Cornflower, blue pearl, powder blue.

Cut the second digi image to measure 12.5 cms by 13.5 cms.
Cut a piece from the third patterned paper measuring 5.2 cms by 13.5 cms.
Attach to the bottom of the digi image to look like a table cloth.
Then attach the cut out digi images using foam pads.

Next cut a piece from white card measuring 13.5 cms by 14.5 cms.
Cut a piece from black card measuring 13 cms by 14 cms.
Matt and layer with the digi image and attach to the card base slightly over lapping layers two and three.

Layer five:
Using a sentiment die, cut the matt die from black card.
Cut the sentiment from plain paper.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base using foam pads.
