Today’s handmade card has been created for the new challenge at I Love Promarkers Blog Challenge #395 that starts today.
I have used a digi image from Knitty Kitty called Kleokatra

The theme for this challenge is anything goes with an optional theme of a CAS card ( clean and simple). You must use either promarkers, flexmarkers, aquamarkers or trias on your work.

Here is a tutorial on how I created this card.

You will need :

8″ by 8″ White Card
Knitty Kitty called Kleokatra
Promarkers
The Paper Boutique Garden Visitor – Never Be Afraid To Stand Out Doily Die Collection
The Paper Boutique Butterfly Ballet – Sentiment Volume XII
White Card
Gold Mirri Card
Wet Glue / Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

Instructions:

Layer one:
Cut a square from gold mirri card measuring 20 cms by 20 cms.
Cut a square from white card measuring 19.5 cms by 19.5 cms.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base.

Layer two:
Print off two of the Kleokatra digi image.
With the first digi image colour in the body using promarkers.
Then with the second image colour in the head wear and collar.

Promarkers used were:
Kleokatra body: Cinnamon, tan, coral, soft peach.
Head wear: Lush green, grass, meadow green, gold, lemon.
Collar / Tag: Grass, gold, lemon.

Cut out the first Kleokatra digi image.
Then cut out the head wear and collar from the second image and attach to the first image using foam pads.
Attach to the card base on the left.
Add cool grey 2 as a shadow underneath Kleokatra

Layer three:
Using the small beetle die from the doily die set, cut two out from black card.
Attach to the card base at the bottom right.

Layer four:
Using the sentiment die, cut the matt die from gold mirri card.
Then cut the sentiment from white card.
Matt and layer together and attach to the card base on the top right.
